My current students, for my own recording - Baroness Varla
http://baronessvarla.livejournal.com/732743.html
My current students, for my own recording. Mar 7th, 2012 at 6:03 PM. I want to write them here (and archive them) because my archives have been very useful to me. In order of when I first procured them:. He's the salesman of the company and I can tell. When he gets something wrong and I explain it he says a very small, "okay". I know I have to explain it with Valery. I could never just say, "Incorrect". When I gave that placement test he looked completely crapped out. That is not like Sergey. He'...8 Tim...

Changing focus. - an origami haiku

The art of folding words. Jan 6th, 2009 at 2:52 PM. Part of this is the new year, and part of this is just re-evaluating where I stand on things right now. Mostly journal-wise, of course. :). But it'll take some of the stress off of me that I really don't need right now and let me focus on some of the things that I really need to. Much love, and you know I'll be back again. Maybe I'll even have something insightful to say next time. 2 folded fold words? Jan 7th, 2009 03:01 am (UTC). Much love back to you!

Mar 18th, 2012 at 1:45 AM. That every woman I know votes. I have voted in every election I've been able (though I've overwhelmingly been on the losing side) but I take voting very seriously. I've had three girlfriends (with whom I lived) who were completely apathetic and so I got to vote twice. Do not be apathetic! In Russia, I still vote. I'm now unable to vote in California (of course) but I can vote on a national level. And I will. I hope you will, too. 3 comments Leave a comment. I adore you. :).

why and how to collaborate? HELP - [ academics_anon ]
http://academics-anon.livejournal.com/1869271.html
Rehab for (recovering) academics. Why and how to collaborate? Hi All. I have a new, permanent post at a university, and I'm confused about the process of academia, particularly collaborations. What are collaborations FOR and how do I initiate them and get the most out of them? I'm often at a loss when meeting and talking to people who could be potential collaborators. What to say and what to do as a result? Say your thing, man. 4th-Jun-2014 03:39 pm (UTC). 4th-Jun-2014 09:12 pm (UTC). Could be someone wo...

We Have Come To The End Of The Book - Baroness Varla
http://baronessvarla.livejournal.com/733325.html
We Have Come To The End Of The Book. Mar 13th, 2012 at 12:04 AM. This is always a helter-skelter* time in classes or in individual lessons. Because will they pony up for another book or will they just lean on me to print print print? If you want a conversation only lesson? Yes, I will come with only my mouth. If you want to learn grammar or vocabulary or grammar? You need to buy your own book. That was $50 right out of my pocket; I was never able to reschedule. You can't make it? I love my students and o...

An update, of sorts. - an origami haiku
http://sylk.livejournal.com/801968.html
The art of folding words. An update, of sorts. Oct 19th, 2009 at 9:59 AM. I miss journaling. I need to reassess how I want to do it and whatnot, but it may be I will become more active again. Regardless, there has been some fun news. I passed my qualifying exam back in March. Yuki and I travelled to Germany and Austria in June/July for work (and a bit of fun). Our Yellowstone/Grand Canyon road trip extravaganza was fantastic and wonderful and phenomenal beyond belief. (Geysers! 6 folded fold words? I pul...

Hello - Childfree Christians

Because choosing not to have children is not a sin. May 19th, 2013 @ 07:26 pm. May 19th, 2013 11:31 pm (UTC). I'm kinda of a similar thought: if I'm not going to have kids, I should help the ones who are here already. I'm toying with the idea of joining Big Brothers Big Sisters once I get settled in my apartment and a bit more set in my job. May 20th, 2013 12:28 pm (UTC). I hope you find this is a good place to vent, laugh, and feel not so "alone.". May 21st, 2013 05:24 am (UTC).

Because choosing not to have children is not a sin. Nov 14th, 2010 @ 11:17 am. The Beauty of Grace - Krystal Meyers. And I'm glad to have found a place like this for Christians who don't want children. One of said profs has never been married or had children, yet he acts as if it's inevitable that I'll want babies. Newsflash, buddy: I had that baby craze when I was 16.and I didn't go out and get pregnant, and I got over it. So, how about all of you? Did you go/Are you going to a Christian college? And no...

Oct 27th, 2010 06:33 pm. A bunch of spinach. A bunch of kale. A bunch of purple turnips, large. Three small sweet potatoes (one with some holes in it). A handful of small and medium potatoes. Weighed about 11 pounds. 2010-10-28 03:28 am (UTC). I finally made baked kale chips recently and love them. So now I get super excited whenever I see kale. 2010-10-29 02:48 pm (UTC). I tried making kale chips once and burnt them, there's a tiny window between not done and overdone, but I plan to try it again.
