Jackson's Arts and Crafts: Busy Busy Busy
http://jacksonsartsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2010/06/busy-busy-busy.html
Jackson's Arts and Crafts. Saturday, June 26, 2010. To say the least, I've been swamped with things going on, between training for the STP, trying to start up a hurling club, mentoring, working, and a few whirlwind weekend trips, I've had hardly any time to try my canoe. Gary has a canoe? To transport our new craft, I threw together a quick and dirty rack out of 2x4s and joist hangers. Mostly eyeballed the project, and after a revision before the second trip out, it really serves its purpose. Okay Here w...

Jacksons' Journal: February 2011
http://jacksonsjournalpage.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Well sort of happy. We all got packages from Grandpa and Grandma Jackson, and that WAS exciting. Michelle and Lena had fun opening and playing and reading stories. I made Valentine Cupcakes and delivered some to neighbors. Unfortunately, both girls were sick. And Michelle's is getting bad enough that she had to get an iv in her arm because she is so dehydrated. The cool thing was, we didn't have to go to the hospital! Jim, Brooke, Michelle and Lena. Tuesday, February 1, 2011.

Jackson's Arts and Crafts: May 2009
http://jacksonsartsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Jackson's Arts and Crafts. Sunday, May 17, 2009. This isn't always about what I'm carving. I recently saw the video for Linkin Park's "Leave Out All the Rest" video, along with clips from the movie. The visual elements are stunning. The closing shot is of the band (or in the film, just one guy) staring at the sun through a polarized screen. After searching for similar images, I found many real-life pictures of solar flares from NASA. We had by far the best D&D session last night th. A lot of people know ...

Jackson's Arts and Crafts: December 2009
http://jacksonsartsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Jackson's Arts and Crafts. Friday, December 25, 2009. I'll Consult the Meat Czar. Today is of course Christmas Day. It was wonderful weather in Western Washington this year, as opposed to last year which was. less so. Mom put me in sole charge of an eleven-pound rib roast and then said "good luck.". I just sort of winged it, as per usual with my cooking, and the roast came out perfect. Good meat. Mom also received a tutorial on the care and feeding of an iPod Nano. Welcome back. Wasn't Avatar. I got a ne...

Jackson's Arts and Crafts: Something a Little Sad
http://jacksonsartsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2011/10/something-little-sad.html
Jackson's Arts and Crafts. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Something a Little Sad. Take a look at this. This is what I found in the toy section at Walmart the other day. It depicts a satellite launch. This is what we do as far as our space program goes. It pales in comparison to this:. It's gone around a lot already, but it's something I noticed. We won't have need to have awesome space shuttle Lego if there's no awesome space shuttle. It's too bad. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Jacksons' Journal: April
http://jacksonsjournalpage.blogspot.com/2012/04/april.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. This is a busy month for us . . . Jim's birthday, Easter, then Lena's birthday. I haven't posted for a while and wanted to hurry and get up some pics for the few of you who pay attention! We went to St. George for Easter and Jim's birthday. Downtown St. George has some fun water features for kids to play in, and the girls had fun . . . ALL the girls, so it would seem. This picture made me think of them all playing poker. A couple weeks later it is Lena's birthday! Grandpa and Gran...
