Wednesday, February 16, 2011. A really good friend of mine of InknThreads. Loves to print on fabric and she inspired me to try! We took a weekend course at a nearby college and had a blast! The top two pictures are sample of what we printed in class. We screen printed using two methods, hand cut stencils and photo emulsion. We had 65 successful flights:. 32 spicebush swallowtails 1 more that flew on November 13th (much too late). 6 eastern black swallowtails. 9 moths of assorted species. We currently have 36 pupae overwintering with us:. 10 milkweed tussock moth pupae. 1 salt marsh pupae. 2 crowned slug pupae. 1 more black swallowtail pupa. 20 spicebush swallowtail pupae. 2 io moth pupae.
