Whatever takes my fancy. Campo Viejo Tapas Trail. July 7, 2016. July 7, 2016. I should mention we were being brought around by a slightly cringey tour guide, who would probably be more at home leading a tourist group. The mostly Irish contingent didn’t appreciate his efforts as much. He meant well though and it was all a bit of craic. But overall it was very good and I would definitely go back. Unfortunately ours was the last Dublin trail of the season but I would recommend to keep an eye out next summer!

Whatever takes my fancy. Montmartre – Food. May 19, 2016. September 30, 2016. We are fortunate to have the use of an amazing apartment on Rue Chappe in Montmartre, Paris, which we have frequented annually for the last 5 years or so. It’s a stone’s throw from the Sacre Coeur cathedral yet feels far removed from the tourist fanfare. Our trips to Paris have taken in various areas… Continue reading Montmartre – Food. Whatever takes my fancy. The Pigeon House Clontarf. August 10, 2016. We visited The Pigeon House in Clontarf for brunch last Sunday. A friend had been to their Delgany branch and raved about it, so we decided to give it a go. Interestingly the Delgany branch won the Best Leinster Restaurant at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2016. My brunch-date had the Gubbeen Chorizo, Scrambled egg, spring onion, smashed avocado, tomato salsa, rocket, toast ( 13). This was tasty and a very generous portion! You are comment...

Whatever takes my fancy. May 25, 2016. I visited Angelina’s. For brunch with a couple of the girls last Sunday. It’s situated in a prime location beside the canal and my friend had heard good things so we thought we’d give it a go. The menu looked pretty epic also, so I was looking forward to it! Bang – foodfrocksandfrolics
https://foodfrocksandfrolics.wordpress.com/2016/08/02/bang
Whatever takes my fancy. August 2, 2016. We went to Bang a few weeks ago for a midweek, Birthday treat. They do a great early bird as well as excellent deals if you sign up to their mailing list, which is what we availed of on the night – four course meal for 2 with a bottle of vino for 75 . To start we all got a ‘snack’ or amuse bouche of pork croquettes with a leek ash aioli which were very tasty! For my starter I got the elderflower cured seatrout with avocado, pickled ginger and pomegranate. For dess...

Whatever takes my fancy. June 26, 2016. September 30, 2016. I got to thinking… If I had a shop, what brands would I want to have under one roof? Alongside a selection of vintage clothes, bags, jewellery and shoes and some pieces of antique furniture, I’d fancy the following:. Max Benjamin and French brands Diptyque and Durance for candles and home fragrance. Avoca blankets and scarves. Smythson diaries and paper. Orla Kiely homeware and stationary. Liberty stationary and fabric. Campo Viejo Tapas Trail.
