Chrysanthemum Tea: Cleaning Machine
http://meish.blogspot.com/2010/02/cleaning-machine.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. I spent most of my Saturday doing some serious household cleaning. And as these scenes unconsciously played out over and over in my mind's eye as I scrubbed my floors and wiped my countertops and dusted my shelves, I thought, I watch way too much syndicated television. Hate it when springcleaning time comes around and I have to take the entire house apart and clean it. So this year, I am going to call on Molly Maid:). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chrysanthemum Tea: December 2009
http://meish.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Adding on to my previous post about how great downtown LA is, I'm in one of those moods where I realize how much I love LA. The beaches, the mountains, the gardens, the food, the films, the festivals, the shopping, the music, the theater, the farmer's markets, the diversity of it all. Friday, December 25, 2009. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Quote of the Day. Why didn’t they work out? Summer: Nothing happened really. It’s what always happens. Life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Chrysanthemum Tea: Olympian Couch Potato
http://meish.blogspot.com/2010/02/olympian-couch-potato.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. And sweep the ice furiously to control a gliding stone (I was happy for the Swiss in yesterday's curling game, but frankly, I was rooting for the Swedes because they were way hotter). I'm not sure what I'll do with myself once they're over. I guess all my TV shows come back on, so maybe I won't notice the empty void from the end of the Olympics after all. On a slightly tangential note, does anyone want to go to Canada? Im going to Vancouver April 10th with the gf.

Chrysanthemum Tea: July 2009
http://meish.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Watching the glow of cell phone lights waving in the air as Kermit sang "Rainbow Connection" on the big screen. Chowing down on the best beers and burgers in Beach City. Getting a piggy back ride uphill. Singing along with Of Montreal at the Hollywood Bowl. Witnessing the amazing costume changes of Grace Jones at the Hollywood Bowl. Great conversation with good friends. That second when my head hit the pillow and I pulled the covers over me after fun, eventful nights. For how our ...

I know it's just a ploy to get me to spend more money by giving me a little discount treat for my birthday, but I love any excuse to shop at some of my favorite stores. Chrysanthemum Tea: January 2012
http://meish.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 02, 2012. Old Year, New Year. When a new year begins, we always look back before we look ahead. Even with all the newfangled gadgets we have nowadays to track our lives, I still have a soft spot for the paper calendar. At the end of a year, I love looking back over my paper planner and see my scribbles of appointments, social gatherings, and events filling up each month. Here are my 2011 highlights -. My first bed and breakfast weekend getaway with B. It was a beautiful weekend in Bal...
