Vogue Germany September 2011. Both Prada and Chloe had snake prints in their AW11 collection. It s fun as detail and super as an all-overprint. I prefer the natural snake print in it s original color but both Prada and Chloe had multiple colored snake prints in their collection. Photos by Jak and Jil except the 2nd and 3th image. At the moment I am kind of obsessed by army prints. They’re a lot of fun to combine with every color and print. And a good vintage camouflage jacket is definitely a must have item. In the last picture you can see the queen of print-combining, the Italian Viviana Volpicella. Urban Woody’s by Marieke and Tineke Willems. The sisters Marieke and Tineke Willems from Design Studio Tweelink came up with a very cute and funny way to recycle (wooden) waste material. Shelfs, fallen branches, old toys, lollipop sticks… You will fastly recognize the facial expressions of the Urban Woody’s, which are dressed with little rubbish items. Acne designer Jonny Johansson was inspired by his trip to Marrakech, he explained after the show. He took his inpiration from the Marrakech’ colours, traditional garments such as the kaftan and sportswear. There are also some super feminine elements such as cocktail dresses.
