A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Soaking up the Souks. If you have to shop - let it be in the souks of Marrakech. The narrow winding derbs. The riot of colours. A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Friday, August 26, 2011. It is said that the only way to tell the seasons apart in Ireland is by the temperature of the rain. And how true that proved. But the images here lie - they tell a story of sunshine, calm seas and settled highs. In reality, these were in short supply but who cares! We enjoyed our tour of the west, taking in Donegal, Mayo, Gallway, Kerry and Cork. A flavour of what Ireland has to offer camper vanning sea kayakers. Seals, of course.

A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Sunday, April 22, 2012. After discovering the stunning biking offered by Cabo de Gata Parque Natural last Easter, we just had to return for more this year. Escullos to San Jose. Salt Lagoons - with Flamingos and Avocets. An advantage of a green Cali for Wild Camping. Location: Calle Montemar, 7, 04118 Níjar, Spain. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Thursday, June 23, 2011. I can't believe more than a year has passed since I posted anything on this much neglected blog. I guess a little 'catch-up' is called for - and it needs to take in the purchase of a new set of wheels. Swanky camper wheels to be clear - not some rusty under-powered old bay window combi (ahhh fond memories) but a pristine VW California with a bit of muscle and 4wd. Spain and Camper Biking. And Brittany with boats added :). View my page on.

Rollalots Blog: Zrmanja
http://rollalot.blogspot.com/2012/09/zrmanja.html
A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Monday, September 10, 2012. One of the highlights from a month spent kayaking and holidaying in Croatia has to be the paddle through the Zrmanja Gorges just outside Zadar. It proved to be simply stunning. Our start point was the beautiful town of Novigrad, a small fishing port. From here, it is a short (4km) paddle across the ‘Novigrad Sea’ to the mouth of the Zrmanja river. Leaving at dawn almost guarantees you mirror calm waters. Loads more images here.

A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Which Way Down the Equatorial Plug Hole? Bang on the equator, surely the water drops straight down and the safest line will always be centre – well, that was the hypothesis we went out to test :- ) Dave Surman, Andy Newell and I. The Laboratory: Wet and Warm. A couple of hours drive North of Tena, the adjacent Quijos catchment, at around 1500M altitude, offers some cooler boating. Both Endless Adventure. Rollalots Blog: A little escape from the office
http://rollalot.blogspot.com/2012/07/a-little-escape-from-office.html
A rambling retrospective 'work diversion'. Friday, July 20, 2012. A little escape from the office. Mid July and summer put in a fleeting appearance. Just enough to grab kayak and hammock and slip away from the office a little early. It is nice to know that you don’t have to venture far for a bit of tranquil hammock swinging. Arne, in Dorset, proved perfect for a mid week sojourn - and I was able to get back to the office by 9am the following morning. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my page on.
