History of Charlie Fox. It was August 1959 before a buyer was found, and was converted to Series 308 configuration for Transcontinental SA of Argentina. This included a roomy cabin with 104 seats instead of the possible 132, and a cocktail bar in the rear. Rare, ugly, funny, strange, amazing and beautiful aviation things. Thursday, 19 September 2013. Hawker Siddeley HS-121 Trident Memories. Along with the wonderful smoky and noisy Caravelles, DC-8s, Viscounts etc (I could go on and on) I got so bored of seeing endless British Airways Tridents. I confess now in the days of all look-a-like jets, how I would love to see a Trident in the air again! Nice colours and photo of Air Ceylon's Trident 1E 4R-ACN (cn 2135). Chinese Air Force Trident 1E 50051 (cn 2130).

The Britannia Aircraft Preservation Trust was launched in 1991, on the 40th Anniversary year of the first flight of the prototype Bristol Britannia. In its efforts to help fund the Trust, it published A History of the Bristol Britannia. Written by founder trustee David Littlefield, and produced a limited edition print, First Whisper.
