A few weeks ago Mike and I had a long talk and I filled him in on details about where we stand debt wise. We both agreed that we needed to chomp at the student loan and set up an aggressive goal to pay it off by this year. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Buying Used →. Just another girl on the road to debt free living. Making Do →. October 27, 2011. But I am not comfortable buying used for everything. Here are some items that I would never buy used. 3) Electronic Devices – Computers, ipods, phones, cameras. I think it is just commonsense to not buy these used. There is no way to check for any damages and working in the industry I wouldn’t advice anyone to do it unless you know the person who is selling it. Is there anything that you would never buy used? I’m thin...

High Class, Low Income. Working on my financial fitness, one day at a time. Monday, June 28, 2010. Today is my last day "off" work with my school client. He's starting summer school tomorrow and I'm actually happy to be going back. Not just for financial reasons, but for sanity reasons as well! I have some things I'd like to sell on eBay before I move, so I may try to take care of some of that today. Have an awesome week everyone! Saturday, June 26, 2010. From LA to the Bay and back. High Class, Low Income. Working on my financial fitness, one day at a time. Monday, July 26, 2010. I'm spending the majority of today in recovery mode. I ran the San Francisco (first) half marathon yesterday morning. I originally signed up for wave 8 which had a start time of 6:42am, luckily I checked while getting ready at 4:30 and realized I was in wave 4 which started at 5:52am! All in all it went pretty well and even with my bathroom stop I met my goal of finishing in under 2:30! Friday, July 23, 2010.

So why do I have two pending transactions and only one ticket? I don't know. You nee...

High Class, Low Income. Working on my financial fitness, one day at a time. Friday, November 27, 2009. On the gifting end). Thanks for the responses to my post a few days ago about how I despise gifting. Simplelivin' suggested I speak to my friends about not doing a gift exchange and I decided to just go ahead and talk to all my friends that I would normally exchange gifts with. They were all open to it, so I'm excited that I have less presents to buy which means less money to spend! Energy drink - $3.
