Sunday, December 1, 2013. It was terrifying as always. So, I found a really weird thing this week. I stopped by a vending machine on the way home to grab a coffee and I spotted it. HOT Ginger ale. Canada Dry ginger ale, even. I wasn't brave enough to try it, though. On Tuesday, one of my students brought us in cookies! She brought in lightly sweetened shortbread cookies for us! It was so sweet They were very nice, too! And on Wednesday, two of my kinder girls were drawing pictures on the blackboard. ...

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. It was really nice and festive. David and I went on a date yesterday! I haven't been out of Natori in a while, so we went into Sendai for a date. It was really nice! We started out at the post office in the Sendai station and then grabbed lunch. There's a cute little bagel place in the restaurant area under the station. I got a bagel sammich. Ham and gouda on a tomato and parmesan bagel. Holy crap. It was really good! I learned how to cross stitch on Sunday! I had a skype date...

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. And yes, that IS a shinkansen pillow! Having done some exploring, we found a small cafe so I could grab a late lunch. David had eaten on the train into Sendai, but I hadn't, and I was starving. We passed Caffe Veloce while we were out and popped in for a bite/ I got the mixed sandwiches and an iced milk tea. Saturday, June 29, 2013. We rocked, I might add. My week has been pretty good! On Saturday, I went to the mall and caught part of S/Mileage's mini-live. S/Mileage is a Hello! Project girl group and I like some of their songs. They had crazy tight security, though, so I only managed to sneak a picture of the stage, not the actual show. My week actually had the potential to be quite quiet No major events going on and whatnot. However, something happened! My birthday present arrived! I was kinda surprised!

And delicious. Possibly the best apple I've ever had. Megumi and I were so excited to receive them! I was flabberghasted over how big they were. Like, for real.
