The Evolution of Adult SFF Television – Logic is my Virgin Sacrifice to Reality
https://ironbombs.wordpress.com/2015/07/12/the-evolution-of-adult-sff-television
Logic is my Virgin Sacrifice to Reality. Why Logic Is My Virgin Sacrifice To Reality. The Evolution of Adult SFF Television. When I was growing up, science fiction and fantasy TV shows tended to share three main elements: they were usually 1) pure action-adventure affairs; 2) filmed in the abandoned quarries, forests, and subdivisions of Vancouver; and 3) were episodic/monster-of-the-week shows. You know the drill:. Hercules, Xena, Sliders, SeaQuest 2032, Stargate: SG-1, The X-Files. The same combination...

#RPGaDAY2015 Day 4 – Most Surprising Game – Logic is my Virgin Sacrifice to Reality

Logic is my Virgin Sacrifice to Reality. Why Logic Is My Virgin Sacrifice To Reality. RPGaDAY2015 Day 4 – Most Surprising Game. Day 4 – Most Surprising Game. This is an interesting one. I tend to research most of my purchases well in advance rather than go into them blind, or buy games because they hit one of my interests—I already knew I’d like Achtung! Cthulhu well before I picked it up, for example. That said, there have been a number of games that have made me to re-think how gaming works:. Share on ...

And only got Feng Shui 2 a short bit before that. The Name of the Rose. Massive campaign setting and build-a-campaign volume, in a slick pirates-and-jungle setting. There’s an awful lot to that volume, and as much as I like the few other adventures I backed, I think its more flexible and modular setup is what sets it apart. You are com...

colorlessblue: July 2009
http://colorlessblue.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I didn’t finish the second of the 2 main projects I had for the Tour, but I feel like I achieved a lot. I managed to spin from the whole top as I decided to do before the Tour, not pre-drafting and not splitting. I’m better at keeping a triangle drafting zone instead of drafting from one side only. I learned long draw, spinning from the fold, and how to use a supported spindle on Challenge Day. The final result, with a bad pic to disprove what I just said:. Me: like, 2 days ago.

Monday, September 22, 2008. I have my first good handspun yarn! Fiber: Yarn Love's Marianne Roving (superwash merino). 1815 yards (176m) of 3-ply fingering weight. That should be roughly 2oz, and I'm still spinning the other half of the roving. It will be enough for a nice pair of socks. .

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Creamy in the morning. Even though it was Smoky. Undyed light gray cashmere/mulberry silk (50/50) from World of Wool. The colour difference is only due to natural daylight. Silver at night, gray/beige with hints of red now. I like both. I got 802 yards from the 100g of fiber, though there were some matted bits that I discarded. shouldn't be more than a few grams, though, and I don't think it makes much difference. colorlessblue: How my hubris was kicked on the butt
http://colorlessblue.blogspot.com/2009/10/how-my-hubris-was-kicked-on-butt.html
Sunday, October 04, 2009. How my hubris was kicked on the butt. And the stitches on the lighter colour, which I was holding on my right hand, look all wonky and even twisted. They're not twisted. I checked. They just look weird. Everything puckered at all directions. Then I had to sew in the lining. My handsewing is even worse than my gauge, but I'm content enough that it doesn't show on the outside. Labels: stranded knitting colorwork hat end of may. October 4, 2009 at 4:55 PM. colorlessblue: On how to wear shawls
http://colorlessblue.blogspot.com/2009/10/on-how-to-wear-shawls.html
Sunday, October 18, 2009. On how to wear shawls. This is the most simple way to wear a shawl. Just throw it over your shoulders, and you're good to go. Except after a while it starts to slide off, and you get annoyed and tired of keeping adjusting it all the time. One solution is to just tie it on the front, but I don't really like that. I like tieing it on the back:. Same idea, different setting, great for low-cut tops:. Or you could just roll it a little and wear it as a scarf. Thanks for linking your ...
