Lead farm yard toys. Each Little Folk’s face, hands and sometimes feet have been individually sculptured from a Polymer clay and then baked in the oven. They are assembled onto pipe cleaner ‘bodies’, padded and dressed in various costumes. Their shoes are made from leather or they have lead boots. The hair is either mohair, viscose or wool (and in one case a piece of my little dog’s tail as I needed jet black hair for a very ‘oily, dirty French waiter’. A group of men and Mrs Hayward.

Lead farm yard toys. Some years ago I aquired an old dolls house built in about 1936 by a man for his daughter. With the house came two very old and tatty little suitcases and a grubby little black box with a label; Mickey Mouse Nursery Set: Lines Bros Ltd Tri-ang Works. Once upon a time this was a Grand old dolls house built in c1936. Inside the dilapidated old house. The two equally tired old suitcases. The little black box. Where on earth was I going to put this huge, dilapidated old dolls house.
