La Casa Dowell: August 2014
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our little world. Monday, August 25, 2014. Watch James Grow: ONE YEAR! The series of photos that I attempted to take for J-Dub's one year picture say it all. And, yes, I took them today. Approaching two weeks late. Nice sign you made there, Mom. He constantly moves. James is a man on the go. Two days ago he wasn't even trying to stand up or pull up or do anything but crawl. Although he does do a nice downward dog. Let me just climb up on your legs and see what you're doing there. He's beco...

La Casa Dowell: DIY Wall Art
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2012/09/diy-wall-art.html
A glimpse into our little world. Thursday, September 20, 2012. I'm getting serious about completing my DIY projects. And the idea of posting them on blog linky parties motivates me to get more done. So here comes another one. On the agenda for this week: wall art for our gray bedroom. The blank canvas had been hiding behind the. Nasty, desperately needs a slipcover. Chair for a few months now and I finally decided it was time to do something with it. I wanted splashes of color and something geometric.

La Casa Dowell: November 2014
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our little world. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. You know what I miss? Paper fliers in the school backpack. For real. I need some papers that I can hold in my hand and read. I skim over and delete most district wide emails. I rarely open the eBackpack. Momma needs some old fashioned paper fliers. Ones that I can hang up on the bulletin board and then let the kids use as scratch paper later. She cages me. I break one lamp and she restricts my freedom. I did start going to a Thursday morning b...

Miller's Musings: June 2014
http://millersmusingsandsuch.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tales and adventures that add humor to everyday life. Thursday, June 26, 2014. So let me preface with something. I spent almost all my early and mid years dancing. I loved the culminating performance and getting to show my stuff. I am sooooooo excited for when my girls are in dance class, and hopefully, they will love it too. For now, all my "small child performance" dreams lie in Landon. And he is his father's son. I could just see him singing along with "Ri-ise and shi-ine and give God the glory glory!

Miller's Musings: Photo Dump....
http://millersmusingsandsuch.blogspot.com/2015/05/photo-dump.html
Tales and adventures that add humor to everyday life. Saturday, May 16, 2015. As of late, it seems the days of catchy titles and recorded antics are long gone. Time just flies by! And it's not that blogging really takes up a large quantity of time, it is just that when I have a free moment, I like to catch up with a book, or a Bible study, or completely useless television. I do still grab my camera and snap some pictures as the kids are being themselves, so enjoy as I dump the camera memory. I am a stay-...

Miller's Musings: January 2015
http://millersmusingsandsuch.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tales and adventures that add humor to everyday life. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Caroline.8 months (and everything else I have neglected to post in recent weeks). Prepare yourselves for a photo dump of randomness. My brain has been processing so many things at once recently that my gift to organize simply will not apply to things such as blogs. I will start with Caroline.she is 8 months old! Adam and I keep saying that out of all of them, she is the happiest kid! Maybe Reese will let me out. Her and Ave...

La Casa Dowell: March 2015
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our little world. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Daily dose of adorableness. James went for his 18 month photo shoot at good ole JCPenney's today. He did a great job. What a handsome little man! Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Spring Break Stay-cation 2015. The big girls put on a show for us. And the little ones danced along. One of our favorite places to hang out is the Central Library. It's fun to see some new scenery, ya know? She seemed legitimately surprised. Today was a trip to play at Jester ...

La Casa Dowell: June 2015
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our little world. Monday, June 1, 2015. Darrin's been working in small weekend spurts to build a playhouse for the kids. He frequently has small helpers who want to be involved. Even James has climbed to the top of the eight foot ladder. {With a spotter behind him. But done totally of his own accord.}. He's basically a one man show, learning as he goes from youtube tutorials and a set of plans that he found online. He's done an awesome job. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). On the V Side.

La Casa Dowell: July 2015
http://lacasadowell.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our little world. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Seems like ages since I've done anything creative. Darrin finds this hand creepy. I find it eclectic. So in a quiet two minutes yesterday I took down my bedroom wall art. And starting painting it white. A new blank canvas. I'd been eyeing a new ikat design for awhile. Inspired by a few ideas here. I had leftover craft paints on hand in the right colors and started swinging the brush. About twenty minutes later my finished work hung on the wall.
