I will write more about that, but it has been nice to be in the States for Thanksgiving this year and I hope that everyone in both Uganda and the US had a good weekend. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. This day started about 3 am when my water broke while I was sleeping. I woke Matt up, then we called our friend Katie. She came over and slept on the couch while we went to the hospital. Here we are in our room. . Then, at 9:32 am, Gwyneth Eve Shumate was born. She was 5 days early. Gwyn weighed 7 lbs 11 0z and was 19 1/2 inches long. First picture of Gwyn and Mom. First picture of Gwyn and Dad. What a sweet baby! Can't you just see the love in their eyes?
