Sunday, April 28, 2013. Wednesday Graesen had to get a little filling done on his tooth. It was small enough and just on the surface that they could just use hand tools with no sedation or numbing. Graesen sat in my lap and the whole thing lasted about 3 minutes. He was totally freaked out, though! Thursday it was warm enough for shorts in the afternoon! Friday, May 31, 2013. Watermelon boats and other fun things. I had my students make watermelon boats on Tuesday. I gave each kid half of a mini watermelon and let them eat it. The classroom was a huge mess! After the long cleanup process, each kid decorated a sail and we put them in the boats, filled up a little pool, and let our boats sail. I got the idea from Play at Home Mom. And the kids were crazy about it :). Wednesday we did a little liquid chalk outside. The kids love how bright the colors are.

This diagnosis will be researched, feared, reviled, loved, and ultimately. Because I’m a mom. And my imperfect self loves in a perfect and unconditional ferocity this girl that I gave birth to eight years ago. I read about the statistics, famous individuals with the same diagnosis, and joined the support groups and newsletters.

Monday, January 20, 2014. Total ramdoms {part 2}. Kason is really into kissing everyone right now. Anytime sissy gets close, she is getting a big wet one! Hadlea is just a little photog these days. she wants to take pics of everyone and everything. Justin and I were gone for two nights for the Dallas game. When I got back she didn't want to leave my side. We slept like this most of the night! My happy OU loving boy! Kase was NOT into taking a pic. And sissy LOVED making fun of him! Maybe there is hope.

Tuesday, April 15, 2014. A break and a ONE year old! So you might have noticed I took a HUGE break from blogging. Not on purpose, but because I have two kids and a full time job. And. not enough hours in the day! I love my job. I love my kids. I love blogging. But most of the time I fight trying to find a true balance. Hopefully once my ONE year old starts sleeping all night on a regular basis, I will find a balance. In the mean time, blogging had to be put on the back burner. How are you surviving?
