Graham Game at large . . . It's time to get outdoors! Can you feel it? Now youv’e saved them, get out and use them! It’s all lies . . . December 14, 2010. It all started when I switched on my computer. Almost immediately, a warning popped up from my anti-virus software informing me that I needed an urgent free upgrade. No problem I thought, so I clicked the buttons only to find that I would have to pay for the upgrade. What happened to free? Clutching my cheque, I headed for my local bank to pay it in.

Graham Game at large . . . It's time to get outdoors! Drumming up a happier workplace . . . Can you feel it? What if climate change is a hoax and we create a better world for nothing? January 11, 2010. It seems as if everybody’s a global warming sceptic these days – either we don’t believe, we don’t care, or maybe we’ve been terrified into some kind of doomsday coma. We have no time these days for bankers and politicians, so have we lost faith in the scientists too? 8216;If an action or policy has any po...

Graham Game at large . . . It's time to get outdoors! It’s all lies . . . My definition of Sustainability . . . →. Now youv’e saved them, get out and use them! February 17, 2011. Does this latest peoples’ victory now make them irrelevant I wonder? Anyway, for me the most important lesson for us all is this; we must now prove that our relationship with our forests, woodlands and wild places is not just skin-deep – now that spring is on the way we absolutely must get out there and use them – or...I have al...

Think, Act, Prosper: Go Green: Beer Growlers
http://thinkactprosper.blogspot.com/2012/03/go-green-beer-growlers.html
Think, Act, Prosper. Friday, March 23, 2012. Go Green: Beer Growlers. As anyone who reads my other blog, A Terrific Life. Knows that I love beer. Specifically, good, local craft beer. The beer brewing process uses an unfortunately large amount of resources, specifically water, grains, and electricity. The beer must then be stored while it ferments, and then packaged and shipped to the consumer. Then the cans or bottles are often discarded or thrown in the trash, rather than recycled. Turn Off the Lights.

netzerolife: Heat Control
http://netzerolife.blogspot.com/2011/06/heat-control.html
A blog about personal experience in green technologies. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. The last few days here in Silicon Valley we have had temperatures in the upper 90'sF. Today, it cooled off substantially, but the heat gave me an opportunity to see how our newly re-insulated house performs in hot weather. I hope to find out in the fall, when I am planning to install some wireless sensors to see. If it turns out to be so, I'll look into heavily insulating the HRV ducting. Posted by James Kempf.

netzerolife: New LED Lights
http://netzerolife.blogspot.com/2011/05/new-led-lights.html
A blog about personal experience in green technologies. Sunday, May 1, 2011. One of my very first posts ( here. Published in November, 2009) was on a new LED light bulb. Though it was advertised as a 60 watt equivalent, it is 40 watts at best. These bulbs being what they are (namely, that they last 50 years) I still have both bulbs in light fixtures in areas that don't require much light. The large spots are Ecosmart brand, marketed by Phillips but manufactured by Cree:. Posted by James Kempf. LEDs are m...
