Glingle-Glingle: They have names!

http://glingle-glingle.blogspot.com/2007/05/they-have-names.html

A collection of random wafflings as they pop into my mind. Friday, May 25, 2007. After much debate, head scratching and general pondering the bunnies have been named. If you don't approve of the names, you can blame Mum as she inspired them. I'm still struggling to tell them apart, if you can see them both it's easy, but from a distance it's almost impossible. Flop demonstrating the ear problem (which then swapped to his other ear, and now no ears are affected! Today they have got the hang of the jump in...

Glingle-Glingle: Whoops!

http://glingle-glingle.blogspot.com/2007/06/whoops.html

A collection of random wafflings as they pop into my mind. Sunday, June 17, 2007. It's now official I can sleep for England. It took me a while to get to sleep last night as my neck was so painful, hence I was still awake at 3 am. I woke up about 7 then dozed off again, eventually getting up about 9. When I opened the blind in Mum and Dad's room, had some breakfast then watched some TV in bed. Notes to self :. Don't leave both cordless phones in the hallway , keep one by the bed. Glingle-Glingle: April 2006

http://glingle-glingle.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html

A collection of random wafflings as they pop into my mind. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Warning: May contain spiders. In the early hours of this morning a very very large spider decided to stroll across the carpet in my room. He spotted me and stopped right in the middle of the carpet staring at me, defying me to do something about it. Don't misunderstand me - I'm not frightened of spiders. If they stay sat in a corner spinning a web and catching all those irritating flies I'm quite happy for them to ha...

Glingle-Glingle: July 2006

http://glingle-glingle.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html

A collection of random wafflings as they pop into my mind. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Well this week I finally had an eye test, only a year or two after I was supposed to have them retested. As it turned out, my eyesight had deteriorated so marginally I didn't need a new prescription. In yet another incidence of "it's a small world isn't it". It turned out that the optometrist was due to go to a dinner party that evening with the course leader of my degree. Digital photograph of the retina. Over the last f...

Glingle-Glingle: August 2006

http://glingle-glingle.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html

A collection of random wafflings as they pop into my mind. Saturday, August 26, 2006. So at 8pm the opening ceremony err, opened. Terry appeared on stage after a dramatic opening based on Maskerade, grabbed his hat off the ghost of the opera houses and said a few words along the lines of "Is it only starting now - didn't it start last Wednesday? Before the guild heads were introduced. We had been warned at the Trolls Guide to Conventions that some people would attend the Bedtime Story in nightwear. T...

In the Games Cupboard: Sunday 20th May, 2007

In the Games Cupboard. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Sunday 20th May, 2007. Lisa and I spent the evening in the company of Jason and Annette and, as well as good food and good wine, great games were also enjoyed. Annette beat us all at Trans Europa. She finished a route really quickly whilst the rest of us were still floundering around, thus we all went 'bust' on the scoretrack whilst she remained on 8! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In the Games Cupboard. Friday, June 22, 2007. Wednesday 9th May, 2007. I trekked into town to join in the playtesting for Jack's next publication, It's Alive. I've played this a couple of times in prototype form and greatly enjoyed it. This was a chance to see the finished artwork and play it with people who had not played before. The artwork is superb; it matches the theme perfectly. I played two 5-player games and a 3-player. I won the first 5 player and shouted "it's alive! Which is always fun!

One Thing at a Time: Merry Christmas

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2007/12/merry-christmas.html

One Thing at a Time. Tuesday, December 25, 2007. I'm having a lovely time- eating chocolate, playing board/card games and generally feeling content and happy (aided of course, by having a happily sleeping child! Hoping you are all having an equally lovely time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). One knit (or purl) at a time. Out of the Games Cupboard. My life seems to be spent multi-tasking - sometimes its good just to do one thing at a time, one thing after another. View my complete profile.

One Thing at a Time: Little mermaid

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2007/11/little-mermaid.html

One Thing at a Time. Monday, November 12, 2007. We rejoined the rather expensive, but rather nice, and very nearby gym recently. In a determined effort to 'get our monies worth' (well we do live in Yorkshire! Anyway, this style clearly works for her. If Paul and I stand about 10 - 12 feet apart in the pool, she can now happily swim between us. All in one big breath. I'm reluctant to encourage her try much further, until she has learnt to come up for air! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

One Thing at a Time: A good day!

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2007/11/good-day.html

One Thing at a Time. Wednesday, November 14, 2007. Today has been a good day! Our cat, Kitty, who has been missing since Friday has returned - a very lovely couple took her in when she was looking scared out near the main road on Sunday evening, and rang us when they saw the posters we'd put up. Also, a nice plumber has come and made our central heating work downstairs (since we'd turned on the heating, it had only been working upstairs! Fingers crossed about the job xxx. Maybe swim at the posh gym?

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html

One Thing at a Time. Sunday, May 27, 2007. Not the most inspired of titles, but I'm a little overwhelmed and amazed at the moment (in a very good way)! Not only did they dismantle the frame, and bring it round to us, they even spend 2 hours today ( a miserable cold day, with rain threatening) helping Paul assemble it for us - along with the kind of assistance only an excited 3 year old can provide. It's wonderful when good things happen - and it's even better when you weren't expecting them! I was, of co...

One Thing at a Time: December 2006

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html

One Thing at a Time. Sunday, December 24, 2006. A Very Merry Christmas. We're safely arrived and unpacked at Glingle's. Wishing you all much happiness and joy. Monday, December 11, 2006. A new store opened in York this weekend. We came across the advert for it by chance at midday on the Saturday - its first day of trading. The advert promised furniture, soft furnishings, toys, Christmas decorations and craft stuff - along with free face painting and balloon modelling. How could we miss it? One is a rabbi...

One Thing at a Time: September 2006

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html

One Thing at a Time. Tuesday, September 26, 2006. My poor neglected Blog - patiently waiting for another post, and now it's come it's not carefully crafted, but rather a hasty scrawl. One day, Blog, I will make it up to you. Life has been a rollercoaster recently - not one of those exciting, white knuckle, stomach churning, life affirming rollercoasters, more like one of the 'baby' rollercoasters you sometimes get in the children's areas of theme parks. Paul has hurt the base of his spine and needs to ge...

One Thing at a Time: January 2007

http://custancia.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

One Thing at a Time. Saturday, January 13, 2007. Living with memory loss (someone else's) Pt 1. Part of the reason for needing to re-balance my life is because Paul's health changed last year. I can't remember exactly what I posted, and I'm afraid I'm too lazy to trawl my archives - but in summary, Paul developed some temporary, but longish-term, neurological problems. Those are lovely pictures on the fridge" he said "where have they come from? This year, I'm going to have a word. The word is balance.

The Verra Small Scrawlings of a Feegle

The Verra Small Scrawlings of a Feegle. Don't Split The Party! May 26th, 2011 at 1:25 PM. I've recently re-discovered the delights and hilarity of playing Dungeons and Dragons, and I feel the need to ramble on about the meet yesterday and how wonderfully we managed to screw the DM over! Oh, and this could be a long one. Cue the back stabbing! Cue: The Trap.
