Lou: September 2009
http://loumagoo2.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I've admired this body of work for quite some time. I feel a sort of visceral connection to it; the way in which it references the body, earth, ritual, ancient religious icons (i.e. the goddess). Phonar Task 5 - PICBOD
http://phonartask5.weebly.com/picbod.html
Neither #Picbod nor #Phonar were anything like I’d thought they would be. They were miles better. Buckets of thanks to Jonathan for building them. It was a stroke of genius. Invaluable guidance and discussion, peer review, and inspiring lectures from working photographers free free free to anyone who cares to jump in. I will certainly be telling everyone I know who is remotely interested in photography. Thanks to the attending students for welcoming the electronic interlopers. From one of our rehearsals.
