I’ll often go out shooting with a vision of the shots I want and a plan to get them. I usually come back with something totally different. And better. I recently went to the beach in Santa Monica to shoot the sunset. It was a beautiful night: clear, but some clouds to give the sky interest. It was a pretty good sunset, but the shot I am most happy with came later.
