ABOUT | Food Coma Adventures

http://www.foodcomaadventures.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html

Discoveries around the metro and in the kitchen. I'm Tina, I live in the capital city of the Philippines, speak a few languages, love being a Christian, and I work in advertising. Since I created a separate blog just for food (my personal blog can be found here. It's pretty evident how much I love it. I enjoy trying out new dishes and new restaurants, I'm only beginning my culinary adventures in the kitchen (as of the beginning of 2014), and I'm a self-proclaimed foodie wannabe. I take a lot of pictures,...

Discoveries around the metro and in the kitchen. The Post-Holiday Post: Part 1. By the time you read this, we will have finished a full (work or school) week of the new year. Hope your tummy was stuffed over the break, and that this will be another food-filled year ahead for you. Part 1: Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta. The whole ...

Discoveries around the metro and in the kitchen. From South to North: Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen. Sometime last year, I'd see my friends from the south post photos of this certain Truffle Mac and Cheese dish. And anyone who knows me will know that I will automatically gravitate towards anything containing the word "truffle". I was surprised, though, to find out that the restaurant where that particular dish was served was located all the way in Parañaque. Lots of wood and brick textures dominate the place.

Going Green | Food Coma Adventures

http://www.foodcomaadventures.blogspot.com/2014/09/going-green.html

Discoveries around the metro and in the kitchen. Over the weekend, I wanted to try making another Thai dish that I'd come to love, and introduce it to the family at the same time. If you haven't guessed what it is yet, it's Thai Green Curry (with chicken). And thanks to the almighty green curry paste, this dish was a breeze to make. It was time to let the chicken cook. After ten or so minutes, I added some green peas and the rest of the coconut milk mixture. While the chicken was being cooked, I also pre...

Life in the Fast Lane. A NEWBIE TRIATHLETE'S MULTISPORT ADVENTURES, TRAVELS, RANDOM MUSINGS, AND CHRONICLES OF HER OTHERWISE ORDINARY LIFE. Lost and, Thankfully, Found. Well, my intuition served me right. Around 10am, I received a phone call from an unregistered number. The stranger asked if I had a dog named Cassie. My heart started pounding, and I asked him, "Why are you asking me this? Actually, I have your dog here with me. Our driver found her on the main road.". I started firing away, asking random...
