http://nickandamy.blogspot.com/2009/06/bangkok.html
The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Thursday, June 11, 2009. We spent last weekend in Bangkok, and finally got to see Ayutthaya! Perhaps equally exciting (for me anyway) was the food. As always, the food was magnificent! Don't really have much more to say. we had massages, ate, and hung out with friends! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Stinky ToFu (and other brief Taiwan tales). Taiwan (very late and short).

The Adventures of Nick and Amy: Quick Update
http://nickandamy.blogspot.com/2009/03/quick-update.html
The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Tuesday, March 03, 2009. As usual, haven't been very good with updates. however I do have an excuse this time! We went to Guangzhou for Christmas. Our idea was that since we couldn't be with family, we would go somewhere where Christmas was a non-event! We were only there for a few days. but it was enough to look around, we even went clubbing there! Anyway, after getting back from that, I fell sick! This weekend we are heading to Osaka! Hong Kong's club scene is very diffe...

Cry-sew-tune-itty): Slanted, factually spurious commentary. Wednesday, May 07, 2008. Forensic experts in Dortmund were defrosting the babies yesterday.". There's something you don't read every day. In airport-grade horror fiction perhaps, or maybe in Hillary's latest anti-Obama commercial, but rarely in serious journalism. Is it a tragic reflection of some archaic German stereotype that I considered this a plausible explanation for the headline, or am I just a bit of a dick? Links to this post. Speaker f...

The Adventures of Nick and Amy: 04/01/2007 - 05/01/2007
http://nickandamy.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Wednesday, April 11, 2007. We had taken a taxi on Saturday, and by the time we added in the extra costs, we decided it was almost the same price as organising a car from the hotel. so we woke up reasonably early and got a car. We figured the a/c would be worth the extra cost :-). We headed off to Borobudur, excited at the prospects! At the top of there are a series of "stupas", each of which contains a statue. The structure is very large, and covered in many many carvings,.

The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Monday, March 09, 2009. It was all so very different. so we gawked at the machines, and wandered around aimlessly for a bit before pulling out the trusty lonely planet to figure out which train we were supposed to take. By the time we reached the hotel, it was definitely food time, and nearly time for the gig. So we refreshed ourselves. and got our first glimpse of the 'futuristic' Japan we (well I anyway) was expecting! Suction force is increased for extra deodorizing".

The Adventures of Nick and Amy: Tokyo!
http://nickandamy.blogspot.com/2009/06/tokyo.html
The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Monday, June 01, 2009. We just got back from Tokyo. so I have managed to do Taiwan a massive disservice by not writing about it yet. and now its just completely overshadowed by our recent Tokyo trip. Taipei was great, in many ways a mini-japan. very heavily influenced by the Japanese. But anyway. Lets not dwell on past mistakes. Japan! Thankfully we didn't miss the last train, but we were a little concerned! Notice how they can't even fit it on a single map? Our hotel room...

The Adventures of Nick and Amy. Thursday, June 11, 2009. Stinky ToFu (and other brief Taiwan tales). So this is one of those things I really should have blogged about after the Taipei trip. After years (literally! Of talking about 'Stinky ToFu' we found some in Taipei, and Amy decided to try it! I think these pictures speak for themselves:. So maybe wasn't worth the wait? I can't even bear the smell. Let alone the taste, so I steered well clear. Other highlights of this trip were:. Thursday, June 04, 2009.
