Tuesday, February 9, 2010. For the last 3 years the kids have taken ski lessons. Each Saturday during January at Snowbasin. We love to go up to the resort. To enjoy the clean air, eat hot salty french fries,. Sit by the fire inside the Lodge while sipping hot chocolate. Or drinking Diet Coke). And of course, skiing " The Greatest Snow on Earth. Monday, March 30, 2009. Super easy, very yummy dressing, great for spring salad dressings. 1/2 C Lemon Juice. 1/2-1 t dry mustard. Some lemon zest if you have it. Salt and pepper to taste. This is my favorite salad of all times. It is something DIFFERENT, than what usually circulates. 2/3 cup slivered almonds. 8 cups (1 lb) Napa. Coarsely shredded12 oz snow peas, strings removed, rinsed and thinly sliced. 1 1/3 cup thinly sliced radishes. 1 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions. 3 Tbsp white wine vinegar.

Chopped summer squash, diced (can also substitute/add summer squash, carrots, eggplant, mushrooms, etc.). 2 T olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 lb penne pasta. 1 c ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese). 189; c. parmesan cheese. 1 T fresh oregano, chopped. 189; lb. mozarella, cubed or shredded (or less—½ lb. is VERY cheesy). 189; c. bread crumbs (optional).

Try THIS and be deliciously pleased! 1 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs. 4 T butter, melted. 3 large eggs, separated. 1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk. 1/2 c fresh Key Lime juice. 1 T lemon juice. 2 t grated Key Lime rind. Thai Sticky Rice w/ Mangoes. 1 1/2 cups glutinous (sweet) rice. 1 1/3 cups well-stirred canned unsweetened coconut milk. 1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons granulated sugar. 2 large ripe mangoes (chilled whole in refrigerator)*. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted lightly. Edible flowers or mint leaves for garnish. Try to get yellow-skinned "Manila" mangoes. Fresh ripe peaches may be substituted for the mangoes.
