That I will use to review at the beginning of the year with my firsties.These videos are adorable and catchy. Have Fun Teaching has some amazing resources. I use their verb and noun songs. I have already made a packet for the first story "What is a pal? Pages 2-8 Words to Know. This includes the words on printable word cards that the students can use to play a game or practice at home. It also has a leveled accountability sheet. Page 9- Main Idea Sheet. Pages 10-14 Journal Writing and Prompts for writing. Page 54- Listening Sheet.

A curriculum of jazz exposure for primary grade children by Craig S. O'Connell. Here's our first grade classroom Jazz collage mural that we created on a wall bulletin board. The first graders studied the work of the famous Harlem Renaissance artist Romare Bearden and listened to the bebop music of Charlie Parker as inspirations for this mural.
