Saturday, May 14, 2011. Long time, No post. Also, I was the chair for Poverty Banquet- a dinner to raise awareness about global poverty levels, the way natural disasters affect the impoverished, and to give information about a local company called Breedlove Foods Inc here in Lubbock. They're really great- take unused produce from surrounding potato farms, dehydrate it, mix it into quite tasty meals (yeah, I bought some- so? Love it- can't wait to teach about something that makes me so incredibly motivated.

It's a poem from a Classical Sanskrit poet and dramatist who could capture the emotion of life with words far more precisely and succinctly than I dare try.
