While Britain gets celebrates Shrove Tuesday with pancakes, Swedes turn to cardamom scented buns filled with almond paste and whipped cream. Originally they were only eaten on Shrove Tuesday, but they now tend to be sold in bakeries from just after Christmas until the beginning of Lent. 05 tbsp cardamon pods – seeds finely crushed, or 1 tsp ground cardamon. A pinch of salt. 1 egg (for the dough).

After a few apple crumbles I started thinking about what else I could use all the apples for. They were a bit tart so the kids weren’t keen on just eating them, however I remember having bought some lovely apple jelly a few years ago. A quick google came up with several good recipes, in the end I settled for one by David Lebovitz. 1 lemon, juice only. Water to cover the apples.

Glutenfria bakverk och annat gott. Fredag 24 april 2015. Två sorters cupcakes med italienska smaker. Igår var jag och firade en kompis som fyllt 50 (! Mat och dryck gick i italienskt tema, så även dessa cupcakes som jag hade med mej till kaffet. Sort nummer 2 är chokladmuffins med kaffechoklad, även de med mascarpone i smeten och på toppen en stracciatellamousse. De fick också tummen upp av gästerna. Till ca 15 st citron- och mandelmuffins. 0,65 dl sötströ. Knappt 3 dl mandelmjöl. 189; tsk vaniljpulver.

Nova ville ha Monster High på tårtan och Hanna ville ha Frost så det fick bli en liten blandning av de båda :). Tårtan består av ljusa glutenfria bottnar, fylld med chokladvaniljkräm, jordgubbsmousse och jordgubbssylt. Täckt och dek i sugarpaste. Förväntansfulla tjejer som ska blåsa ut ljusen. Idag har vi varit på smarrig middag hos mina föräldrar och inte helt otippat stod jag för desserten ;). Efter mat kan det ju vara för mäktigt med en vanlig tårta men marängtårta är ju lite mindre mättande så det fick det bli :). Familjen fick såklart smaka nu till fikat och ge ett utlåtande och de gav tummen upp för dessa! Till ca 12 st:. 1,25 dl grädde. 2½ dl mandelmjöl. 1½ -2 tsk kardemumma. 189; tsk vaniljpulver. Glutenfria bakverk och annat gott. Tisdag 30 december 2014. Jordgubbstårtan som blev en tomtetårta. Idag har vi firat lite jul i efterskott med min bror och hans familj. Till fikat gjorde jag denna jordgubbstårta som blev en tomtetårta :). Tårtan består av ljusa glutenfria bottnar, fylld med gräddvaniljkräm och jordgubbsmousse, som en vanlig jordgubbstårta med andra ord ;). Efter vi mumsat tårta gick vi bort till pulkabacken och hade skoj. Det är ju tur man har barnasinnet kvar :). Måndag 8 december 2014.
