Farrens in Oz

Sunday, October 14, 2007. Dad finishing off now.we spent a lot of time walking on both days ( 10k plus each day) in the promontory with both some spectacular coastal walks and rainforest walks. We saw a few kangaroos and wallabies and just had great time together as a family with lots of fun, laughter, learning about geography and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. We were of course very disappointed that Australia lost in the rugby but will do our best to follow England now. Friday, July 27, 2007.

Saturday, August 12, 2006. Our House in Oz. This is our house in Oz at 2 Wingan Avenue, Camberwell. Joe says our house is very smart and he especially likes his bedroom. The favourite thing for both of the boys at the moment is the park for them to play in which is literally just outside our back gate. It is the biggest back garden in Melbourne. These are photos that Sam and Joe took all by themselves to get into the world of Blog. Posted by Farrens in Oz @ 7:05 PM. View my complete profile.

The Russells In India: April 2007

http://therussellsinindia.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

The Russells In India. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. On the road again. Guess what, we're traveling again! Also over the weekend I caught up with my friend Rach one of my bridesmaids. Some of our time was spent in the beautiful country around Godstone in Surrey, walking for a few hours in the sunshine, daffodils, bluebells etc. That's something that you miss - the change in seasons and UK in spring is gorgeous. Anyway this is just a little update blog, as we'll try and write some more news when back in India.

The Russells In India: Operational Hazard

http://therussellsinindia.blogspot.com/2007/06/operational-hazard.html

The Russells In India. Friday, June 22, 2007. Not sure if this story from South India will have crossed the globe, but it is a bit scary. NEW DELHI (June 22) - The 15-year-old son of two doctors performed a Caesarean Section birth under his parents' watch in southern India in an apparent bid to gain a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest surgeon. Instead, the boy's father could be stripped of his licenses and may face criminal charges, officials said Thursday. He said this was not t...

The Russells In India. Friday, December 22, 2006. Something to get you into the Christmas mood. Http:/ www.thecompassgroup.biz/merryxmas.swf. Thanks Linda for sending this on! Posted by The Russells. Friday, December 08, 2006. I am currently in America, and yesterday I got asked "Is Scotland near England? I responded, (trying to hold back any patronising tone or laughter) "Yes.they actually share a border.". To which came the response, "That is so cool". Posted by The Russells. The Russells In India: February 2007

http://therussellsinindia.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

The Russells In India. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. From the frying pan. We have always been told to expect the real hot weather from March to May. The last few days have been in the low 90's and it's only expected to get hotter in the coming weeks and months. Of course, Andi and I have had the experience of tropical Scotland and Northern England to acclimatise ourselves, but I'm thinking that this may feel slightly different. Posted by The Russells. The Russells In India. Tuesday, August 07, 2007. All singin', all dancin'. The last few weeks have seen us dancin' and singing a number of times, continue to travel the world, see family and friends, take part in courses, have busy work period and be involved in some great church events and daily life. We completely recognize we have been rubbish at updating the blog recently, life has taken over a little and we have had even less time to post news. The Russells In India: Dinner in the dark...

http://therussellsinindia.blogspot.com/2007/06/dinner-in-dark.html

The Russells In India. Monday, June 11, 2007. Dinner in the dark. Am attending a women's breakfast and we also hope to go to one of the 'life groups' held in a coffee shop across the city during the week. Despite this it was a lot of fun and Taylor enjoyed himself. Watching the expat and Indian children dancing together to a mix of Hindi/Bollywood music, with their faces painted with either Spiderman or butterfly masks was really cute. Posted by The Russells. The Russells In India: March 2007

http://therussellsinindia.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

The Russells In India. Thursday, March 29, 2007. The Kerala Adventure - Part Two. The second installment of my journal entries during the trip to Bangalore and Kerala. There were THREE sermons (yes, THREE), two of which were in English translations, and many felicitations (their word, not mine) and considered advice shared. We had a GREAT meal afterwards and then had the two-bus journey back to Bangalore. Something I have never done before is pray for a car! The driver we had from Sultan Batheri to Pulpa...

The Russells In India. Friday, September 28, 2007. North Korea and beyond. Dochi Township North Korea, September 2007. I (Andi) tallied up that I have visited in the last nine months - six countries and even more cities, four of these countries in the past two-three weeks. And now I'm home after being away with work and is time for another blog. Is so nice to be back with Gareth who has also been busy recently, organising and leading a global conference with his work.
