The Glad Family: Letters from Africa - Volume 87...
http://thegladfamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/letters-from-africa-volume-87.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. Letters from Africa - Volume 87. This week went well. Elder Kyuvi and Elder Taylor have taken over Wendo Genet. Elder Morgan and I are working now in Shashemenae and Arsi Negali. We received about 12 referals in Arsi Negali on Saturday and will probably be baptizing a lot there. I expect to see Arsi Negale really grow in the future, it will be a pillar for the church in this region. That's it for now, Love you! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm at the moment still in Uganda, if all goes well I'll be back in Ethiopia on Wednesday, but the office guy they have here in Uganda isn't entirely reliable, so it may be longer. I love you and please can I urge one more time the importance of making sure that the college application goes well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What Makes Me Happy Today. http://thegladfamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/letters-from-africa-volume-88.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. Letters from Africa - Volume 88. I was able to go to the mission office on Friday and while I was there Sister Scott showed me my release date and proposed flight plan, that was almost too much. I need to get back to Ethiopia and get some work done before I finish, there is so much time and so little to do. strike that, reverse it. So that is where we are now. Love you Mom, please get this college thing lined up for me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Team Uberphast 5K Times.

Monday, November 28, 2011. Letters from Africa - Volume 81. Love you Mom, a lot. Monday, November 21, 2011. Letters from Africa - Volume 80. Something awesome I did this week? My favorite thing to do on p-day is e-mail! That's just the part I look forward to the most. I like to climb mountains if I have a companion who is willing. Luckily I now have a companion who is willing. P-day is a nice day to relax, though we usually end up doing a lot of work on p-day as well. We got transfer news last Thursday, ...

http://thegladfamily.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 5, 2012. Letters from Africa - Volume 91. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know that it was super bowl weekend until I opened my e-mail account this morning. We're really removed out here. Things are going good, this week will be full of disturbances though, we have to travel to Addis twice, and though the meetings will be good, the work will go down a bit. Anyways, it will be a good week. Anyways, I love you, hope things keep going good. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 9/1/08 - Dan 33:32.

Bulldogs Bunch.: April 2008
http://bulldogsbunch.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Only time will tell if it was time well spent. Sunday, April 20, 2008. 2008 Salt Lake City Marathon. Starting line 7:00 am. I have waited a long time to check this one off of my list. I think that I was 18 years old when I originally set the goal to run a marathon. I then went on my mission and got "chubby" and sort of gave up on myself. Going into Mile 7. The race itself was a wild event. I started very strong and felt great. I even set a personal record through 6 miles. Then came the winds! My support ...

Only time will tell if it was time well spent. Sunday, August 17, 2008. Here are some of the goats as they traversed a ledge. I totally agree with you and I invite you to come and check out my backyard. C.I.A. (carla in Alaska). August 20, 2008 at 3:55 AM. Doesn't count mom. We have lived here forever. Bisp (brian in special places). August 20, 2008 at 6:51 PM. Sounds like an awesome time. I wish I could climb like those goats. October 28, 2008 at 5:44 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Only time will tell if it was time well spent. Thursday, February 21, 2008. Back in the saddle again! 33 miles into my 17 miles on Saturday I pulled up lame. I have a rolled tendon. That has given me some pain but on Saturday, it was just too much. I went and got me some new shoes, hoping that it would help the pain. I ran 3 miles on Tuesday and felt good. So tonight I went 10 after work. Monday, February 18, 2008. Out with the old, in with the new. Do you like my new kicks? Saturday, February 9, 2008.

Bulldogs Bunch.: May 2008
http://bulldogsbunch.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Only time will tell if it was time well spent. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. On Saturday Sarah and I went and ran/walked up to the top of Grandeur Peak. It was a lot of fun. We made good time and enjoyed lunch on the top. On the way down we ran the entire way. This may sound easy but it was good on the legs. I will be picking up my trail running shoes this weekend. If any of you are avid trail runners, let me know where some good trails are and what is the best equipment is. Monday, May 26, 2008. And driving ...

Idiot With a Bow: December 2007
http://idiotwithabow.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Idiot With a Bow. Thursday, December 27, 2007. I could devote this blog to glossing Greg and what he's done for me as a hunter, but I will highlight his amazing year. Greggish Canyon: aka Greg's second home. He spent plenty of time in this wonderful piece of real estate (the majority of my bowhunting career has happened here) If you are lucky enough to know where it is, put it in your mouth, chew on it, go there, enjoy it. If you can't make it, I will post many photos of this place in the year to come.
