The weird thing is that Sunday was the one day I missed the reading and praying for the world! John 6:68). More on the heart later. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I've been the college pastor at Ev. Free Fullerton for the past eight years and can't think of anything I'd rather do than minister to college students! View my complete profile.

ajPERSPECTIVE: Faithful to My Heart
http://ajperspective.blogspot.com/2011/04/faithful-to-my-heart.html
Perspectives on. Cooking. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Faithful to My Heart. I know it's silly. I know it's irrational. But it's still what I laid awake thinking about last night. My child is lying sick in a hospital bed - she's 18 months old and had surgery yesterday. I should have been thinking about doctors and antibiotics and stitches and gauze. But all I could think about was her Easter basket. I have been working on that basket for the last month. She has such fun things waiting for her! I also spent a ...

Team Dickerson: October 2010
http://teamdickerson.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 25, 2010. South Carolina on My Mind. Ahh, the South. Time just seems to go much slower there, people are friendlier and everything seems more relaxed. Although we technically still live in the South by a few miles, Northern Virginia is generally lumped into the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast culture. Don't get me wrong, the South has its own problems (that I won't get into here), but it is wonderful. To pass some time down there. First stop, the Comptons. Maggie, the newest arrival. The Hawkins&#...

The Long and Winding Road: June 2010
http://dentalroad.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Long and Winding Road. I'm a Fourth Year. They've always been a revered group. So smart. So skilled. So grown-up. I watched a group of my classmates casually chatting down in the cafeteria this morning as I paid for my coffee on our first day of summer clinic and realized that they were a group of "fourth years". So. Cool. And I'm apparently one of them. The next day and the following Tuesday (after Memorial Day), I was at an office just down the road and it was night and day. Laid back but produ...
