Friday, March 29, 2013. A recent study of a skull. Oil on Wood. Realized after I finished the painting that I accidentally left the overhead lights on, specifically fluorescents. Normally when I work on a still life, I only use natural light for a number of reasons. The two light sources, each with a different color temperature caused my shadows to be less predictable. If I had realized the overheads were on, I could have accommodated a little more. A random digital painting of a futuristic soldier.

Tuesday, November 20, 2012. It's getting there. It was brought to my attention that there is a problem with the drawing of the pickle, and that I need to potentially step away from the reference photo and paint a little more intuition. 35 Hour study from life - Graphite. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Stumbled into a figure drawing session. I didn't know what the length of the pose was so, I did not spend as much time methodically measuring the figure. Potentially this gestural approach was more beneficial. I still need to get more efficient at establishing my values. A work in progress of me caught in a pickle. Painting is really hard! Friday, June 7, 2013. Golden Planet: Work In Progress. An early concept for the album artwork for Golden Planet by Phantasmagoria. Will have to redo the art because the photoshop file became corrupted on my laptop. I recently finished recording the guitar tracks for the album. I think the album will sound half way decent once completed. Here is a sneak peek at one of the songs as a work in progress. There is no bass parts yet, and it still needs to be cleaned up. Monday, February 4, 2013. Office Composition Sketch: I will turn this into an oil painting after I figure out the color. This is more or less the direction I will be heading in.
