Optical observations of Eta Carinae at La Plata Observatory. The eclipsing binary system Tr16-1. Update: oct 01, 2014. We have presented an analysis of photometric and spectroscopic observations of this eclipsing binary system in the Annual Meeting 2003 of the Asociacin Argentina de Astronoma. (Spanish ps-file 450Kb). Tr 16-1 (= CPD -59. 2628) is a star with spectral type O9, it's one of the brightest stars in the inmediate neighbourhood of Eta Carinae (labeled with the number 3 in the image of the right).
