Bit half-hearted. - Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit. Virgil, The Aeneid, book i., l. 203. 11:26 pm January 6th, 2007. Still tired. And found the downside of the internet when Care called. I was so excited to tell her about the RUH Bath thing, and forgot completely that she could read it online. Duh. So depressing. I had time, could have added in background stuff and the like, but, meh. Just not in the mood. 8 charged into the fray. Or Tilt at the windmill? January 7th, 2007 12:37 am (UTC). That's p...

Tiiiiiiired. - Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit. Virgil, The Aeneid, book i., l. 203. 09:11 pm January 4th, 2007. Anyway, it looks really good. Looks like I'll be jazzing up the teenage activity room, which while vividly coloured feels drab and unloved. Spent almost 3 hours talking with people, redesigning the space, wrestling with my measuring tape, etc. Will say more about it later. Then the bus back home. See next post for the JustFive art, plus bonus stuff! 2 charged into the fray. Bizarre but t...

Resolution - Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit. Virgil, The Aeneid, book i., l. 203. 10:25 pm January 1st, 2007. Not often that I bother. But this year. Well. You all probably remember the five or less sketches I used to do on my wacom tablet, mostly as a loosening up exercise. Good practice, good fun, and of great amusement to the lot of you, as I recall. Stopped doing it, don't know why. And thus:. 2 charged into the fray. Or Tilt at the windmill? January 1st, 2007 11:38 pm (UTC). My mind is boggled.

table stay: vw_campers

Many people seem to have the problem where the rear table swings out when you go around corners. I've tried several solutions to this with differing levels of success. At first I tried to stuff my front curtains down between the table and the cabinet. This worked somewhat, but every now and then the table would work its way out and start swinging again. The book I choose is "The Columbia History of the World", although any similar size tome will do. I covered my copy with a protector from Brodart.

vw camper improvements - paper towel holder: vw_campers

Vw camper improvements - paper towel holder. It's always nice to have a roll of paper towels handy in the camper. Unfortunately if you put them on a flat surface they tend to a) take up space b) roll off onto the floor. My solution was to create a holder out of coat hanger, which attaches to the light valence above the rear table. Together on the valence:. X-posted in a slightly different form to. I don't know if anyone is still following this group, but I'll try to bring some life back into it. My daily driver is an '84 Westy, now with a Tiico engine. I've been slowly making improvements over about 10 years. I've decided to start posting some of the solutions I've come up with for what may be common problems and notable improvements to stock equipment that I think are worth considering. By way of introduction: A pic. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

house lights: vw_campers

When I'm camping I find the stock 12v light too bright and not well located for most things I'm doing. I have also have a history of battery troubles which have made me energy paranoid, so I went searching for high efficiency lighting. I found lots of solutions that required all kinds of money or threw off all kinds of heat (which smelled of inefficiency to me). I use rechargeable batteries and have a solar charger, so the solution is reasonably green. So far I'm really happy with the setup, I can ea...
