Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: August 2010
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 22, 2010. On Thursday, our really close friends- the Sachses- who lived here for a year and went back to Baltimore last summer, made Aliyah and came back to us! This was very exciting because their presence increases the number American families in our group of friends by almost 100% and becasue we really missed them! And the alien that Asher drew in pencil on Simon's wall the day before they left is still there. Lauren was holding a sign that she had made for us! I suppose I should go to ...

Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: November 2009
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. When a Sunday is a Sunday. After that, I took Simon to a birthday party while David and Eli hung out at home. I saw Rachel and Julia dropping off their kids at the party too so we all decided to go out for coffee as long as we were kidless. We went to the new Hungarian bakery which is yummy even if they don't have chocolate rolard. All in all, a very nice Sunday! Simon happily reunited with Boa. This will be used as bribery when Simon is. And they...

Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: Weekend Getaway
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2010/11/weekend-getaway.html
Tuesday, November 23, 2010. This past weekend was definitely blog-post worthy! The kids went to Tel Aviv to spend the weekend with Ducky and Papu in their "hol-tel" and we headed south to the Dead Sea. It was amazing! And I got to play with my new camera (some of these pictures are from that and some are from my phone- wonder if the quality is really that different) which was fun. And now that your parents left and the conference is over do we get to get together again? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Monday, December 28, 2009. The Return of Shaya. I was planning to take the kids out for dinner since I was starving and we didn't have any food in the house, but when I got home with Eli, Shaya was still here! David came home for a few minutes but then left to go to Tel Aviv. He is usually in charge of bath and bedtime.so the fact that it is just about 9:00 and Simon just got into bed is just what happens when I am left to my own devices! Sunday, December 27, 2009. Since it wa...

Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: Thanksgiving
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2010/11/thanksgiving.html
Saturday, November 27, 2010. David made the turkey (Sarah's recipe) which was amazing. All the food and company were great so it was a big success. It meant a late night on Thursday night, but we were able to have somewhat of a lazy day on Friday because we were invited out for both meals- I love a Shabbos like that! David took them to Park Herzliya so I could begin my war with the laundry.the laundry is currently still beating me but I will prevail! We went to the rabbis house for dinner, which involved...

Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: August 2009
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Last Wednesday, we had Eli's slightly belated birthday party. He must think birthdays last so long because we had his birthday party at Gan Frieda over a month ago and then suddenly it was his birthday again on the 17th (his real birthday) and then again for his party! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Simon was the 2nd kid to go up. He took the microphone and then in a very serious voice said:. שיהיה לכם המון בלונים (I wonder if the Hebrew words will show up correctly? We had a quiet di...

Simon Says and Eli Repeats!: Broken Bones
http://simonezra.blogspot.com/2010/12/broken-bones.html
Sunday, December 12, 2010. David wasn't feeling well so I took the kids to the people we were going to for lunch by myself and luckily everyone behaved decently and we managed to avoid the rain while we were walking. Someone else who was there was also a doctor and she agreed with Jeremy's diagnosis that it was probably broken but not a severe break. We went for ice cream on the way home to celebrate Simon's bravery. Today he went to school and came home with lots of signatures on his cast.
