ElderHouse’s ten percent administrative and 3 percent fundraising costs gives it the highest efficiency rating of charitable giving in standards set by such prominent philanthropic institutions as the American Institute of Philanthropy, Charity Navigator and the United Way. In the mid-1970’s community advocates for the elderly began to explore the idea of opening an adult day care center in Norwalk. Persuaded by the belief that older frail adults were being prematurely placed in institutional care, their hope was to provide an alternative that allowed older adults to remain living in the community. Mission in Mexico

Elder Hostetter is serving in the Mexico Guadalajara East Mission from August 2014 to August 2016. This week we were able to take a family to the temple and teach them outside. I didn't get to enter but it was just great being outside. President is talking about changing the rule about the temple and if I don't get transfered I think I will get to go. The family loved it and commited to do whatever neccesary to be married there someday.and then they didn't come to church! Love, Elder Hostetter.
