Just a bit of background on me. My name is Sam Gustman and I received my computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan in 1992. My wife, daughter and I live in the Pacific Palisades, California. Since 1994 I have been the CTO of Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation based at the University of Southern California ( http:/ sfi.usc.edu. After moving to USC, in addition to my job as CTO for the Shoah Foundation, I was also put in charge of the IT and digital collections for the USC Libraries.

While nothing I worked on was on Broadway, the egos of the producers, directors, and the choreographers were big enough to be in a traveling circus. As the stage and lighting designer, it was my role to take the hopes and dreams of the technical team and make it come to life, visually. One such project was for a little play called A Christmas Story.
