When our six children were young, they carried the earth with them everywhere! Now they are grown and live all over this country but they still remember their roots.and the earth!

Sunday, December 13, 2009. Eddie and Ivy got married.finally! Yesterday we joined many other good friends with Eddie and Ivy's families to witness the marriage of Eddie, we refer to as our adopted son, and Ivy. The place was the China Rose in Chinatown. A very chilling windswept afternoon lead to a very warm and very filling wedding followed by a traditional Wedding Banquet. And he was doing his best taking care of things as a best man should. We took our seats in the area designated for the ceremony.

Friday, March 12, 2010. The Umina Family dressed down. The Umina family dressed up at Joe and Jessica's Wedding! Thursday, March 11, 2010. Joseph and Jessica were married this past weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah and almost all of the family was there.it was wonderful and Mom here is still sobbing. Good friends of the groom, Nick and good friend of the Bride, Rachel. The best man.older brother, Jon. Matron of honer, sister of the bride. With niece and nephew of the groom, Ally and Logan. We love you both!

We are FINALLY moving to a bigger place about 1 block from Dan's old house in North Las Vegas! There's lots of room for the kids to play, a big backyard, and extra parking on the side of the house for Dan's future boat :) We'll be crazy busy for awhile, but I'll post again as soon as I get the chance. Dan, Christine, Jackson, and William. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Sorry it's been so long since I posted! I spent a week on Utah at Debate camp and have been spending time getting ready for school! Thank goodness Grandma Umina came to stay with us! I don't know what we would have done without her. Of course, the kids LOVED spending their days giving grandma a hard time :) but sadly, she got sick! So here's the breakdown:. Thursday-Dan's tummy is rumbling. Sunday he starts to get a fever and toss is cookies.

Sunday, February 6, 2011. Winter 2011 called.The Snow-opoculus! We have well over 3 feet of snow in our backyard and on our roof in some places! It has been a wild winter since the snowstorm after Christmas in 2010, which my dear new daughter in law asked for! Thank you so much! Today our church was cancelled due to ice on the roads and on the building roof.doors were hard to open due to weight on the roof. A number of men were going back to shovel off the roof.
