http://ejklr.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, 31 December 2015. A new era on the EJ&KLR. As 2015 draws to a close, and the original line in Cheshire awaits lifting I'm reflecting on my garden railway journey and what the future holds for the EJ&KLR? The line has matured wonderfully, shown here in May 2015. My late father, playing with the original starter set. The line looked very bare when first built, this is from. May 2011, 4 years prior to the photo at the top of this post. The LGB Frank S tank conversion, with some. Narrow gauge diese...

The Elly James & Keith Light Railway: Track lifting...
http://ejklr.blogspot.com/2016/04/track-lifting.html
Monday, 25 April 2016. Sunday marked the end of the EJ&KLR in its initial form as the layout was lifted (in less than an hour) from Mum's garden. A real family effort as both kids were helping - of course we had to run some trains first. The last train is a reincarnation of the first train, which was my Liliput diesel which formed the basis of my O&K conversion. Here are a few of the last trains. Scribbled by James H. A Garden Railway for G and SM45 scales situated in leafy Cheshire, England. Wednesday, 17 June 2015. The fourth and latest engine to arrive from Roundhouse is this powerful workhorse, Harlech Castle. Built by Baguley-Drewry this locomotive was originally intended for Mozambique but the order was cancelled and subsequently she found her way to Ffestiniog Railway in 1988. http://homestyal.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer-coach-pt1.html
A Garden Railway for G and SM45 scales situated in leafy Cheshire, England. Monday, 22 June 2015. Summer Coach - Pt.1. After witnessing a demonstration of kit building at this years 16mm NGM National show, I was quite impressed with the quality and ease of build of a Houstoun Gate Locomotive Works. Upon my return home I subsequently gave HGLW a call and ordered a Summer Coach from their range. After less than a couple of hours I had most of the model built. Monday, June 22, 2015. The Elly James & Keith Light Railway: November 2014
http://ejklr.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, 8 November 2014. This year hasn't seen much actual modelling in G scale for me but it has seen a bit more playing over 2013. This may be the last year of the line in it's current location as Mum gas bought a new house so a move in 2015 is definitely going to happen. Enjoy these last shots of trains on the line in the autumn. Sent from my iPhone. Scribbled by James H. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Narrow gauge diesel comparison. Blauturm Faur Lxd2 in the garden. The Elly James & Keith Light Railway: Narrow gauge diesel comparison...
http://ejklr.blogspot.com/2012/07/narrow-gauge-diesel-comparison.html
Tuesday, 31 July 2012. Narrow gauge diesel comparison. As the Blauturm (www.blauturm.de) kit for the L45H/Lxd2 nears completion I've pondered if I'll ever do another big diesel. Whilst researching the Lxd2 and comparing it with the OBB 2095, I have also stumbled upon another pair of diesels I quite like, both very different in character, power and use. I'd like both - but there are currently no kits for either locomotive. The T47 is probably a bit too difficult to scratchbuild - but the Mk48 would be...
