My 90 day challenges to have fun, learn and get better at things. 90 day workout challenge week 9. September 25, 2016. It is now less than one week until my first half-marathon, and after today’s run, it feels good. I ran 14km at a pace of 5:54 min/km and when I got back home it felt like I could have continued running for quite some time more. The second week of my workout challenge went ok; I missed the Friday workout because I felt tired and lazy but otherwise, it feels good to push me to workout daily. The longer workouts have all been running workouts, as I just signed up to run a half-marathon in October. The other workouts are five-minute workouts to increase strength or stretch. I got a cold this week so I had to make the training soft but I did some training each day. The cold is gone so next week will be more running, I’m going back to work as well so it will be interesting to see how I can squeeze all the running in that I need to finish the half-marathon October 1st.
