Thursday, February 8, 2018. New Zealand: Food in Rotorua. Little P's hot chocolate. As I was looking through the photo and about to write this post, I just realised that aside from the Hāngi feast, our other food options were non New Zealand origin. First up, French influenced Le Cafe de Paris. We stumbled on this one when we were really hungry, travelling from Rotorua and not many shops were open on a Boxing Day. The food luck was on our side though, because these were good. Y's Spicy lamb salad, NZD 22.

Friday, February 27, 2015. Hakone 箱根: Sightseeing in Hakone Day 1. Source: Odakyu model sightseeing website. I borrowed this map from the Odakyu website because our travel follows this route. We departed from Tokyo in the morning, to make it in time for our baggage to be forwarded to the hotel. For day 1, our transportation mode was bus, foot, ship then bus again. This was where that map. That I borrowed from Hakone Tozan Bus. Works wonder. Here goes, in travel order. Uguisu' - sweet young soy bean powder.

Monday, 17 November 2008. 如果你有看HK TVB连续剧，你肯定会注意到他们都很爱吃 soufflé 甜品。最近的是“珠光宝气”里的一幕，Jessica破产后要“窝可”请她到高级餐厅用餐，然后想点客 soufflé 当甜品。“窝可”很心疼（荷包）地说，那只是面粉和糖的东西，还要卖到那么贵。哈哈哈。。。其实啊，recipe 看似简单，做 soufflé 可考功夫叻。我第一次做的 soufflé ，表层塌了下来。第二次，烘太久了，内层有点干。虽然表层有点焦了。不过算是成功了！好好吃叻！ 45g sugar plus additional for sprinkling. 95g bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened). 2 large egg yolks at room temperature. 4 large egg whites (I use L size eggs, average 50g mass per egg). Sunday, 28 November 2010. 放下行旅，来一个热水澡。窗外还是一片烟雨，一点雨停的迹象也没有。听JL 说，今天和明天都会下雨，我们出发前网上查看的天气预测一点都不准，看来我们的行程需要稍微更改。。。雨天应该是参观博物馆、艺术馆最适合了。外边风大雨大，带来的小伞，不晓得被风吹反了多少次。我们穿了3件衣服，加上春季外套，还是冷得发抖。天啊！低于10度的春天，还冷过西澳的冬天啊！雨中漫步才没有电视剧的浪漫。。。远远看到一条色彩的长龙，还有一点不敢置信。印象中的博物馆和艺术馆都是冷冷清清，没想Van Gogh竟然吸引了那么多人来观赏他的作品。我对Van Gogh的作品认识不多，就只有2-3 幅。我建议多付5 Euro 用语音导览，作品解说可以让你更了解Van Gogh的生平和改变，更容易投入和鉴赏。我们在雨中排了大约２个小时才看到Van Gogh Museum 的大门口。 Labels: 浪迹天涯 - 欧洲. Sunday, 28 November 2010. 第五篇 : Red Light District 红灯区. Sex Museum其实不在红灯区，也不在隐蔽的街上。它就设在人来人往的大街上在其中一间看似普通不过的商店里。这个另类的博物馆是我们行程里一个需要tick off的其中一个景点。逛完Sex Museum，其实时间上早，大概是下午５点左右吧？但是我们却连连打了很多呵欠。。。是天气？还是时差？我们漫无目的的在Amsterdam的街上闲逛着，为了等待入夜时分。（也不竟然，因为我们很有效力的买齐了在荷兰该收集的手信。）大约７点钟，华灯亮起，寂静的红灯区街道开始变得繁忙。我们为了见识橱窗女郎而来。看到吗？那个"No photo" 的标志？我不想我的相机报销，所以乖乖不敢偷拍。 Links to this post.
