Living inside my head. A few of the things that bounce around my brain…. By gosh. I think I’ve got it! I am blaming it on the moon… →. Just starting and already confused. September 19, 2010. I decided to start a blog today, primarily because I like to write and thought that this would be a good outlet. I figured, easy. Set up an account, find a pretty picture, type. There really isn’t a lot to it. This entry was posted in Random. By gosh. I think I’ve got it! I am blaming it on the moon… →. Okay so that ...

The Glass Darkly: February 2006
http://theglassdarkly.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2006. But I also like the way funerals force we as humans to address our finiteness and weaknesses. I appreciated the simplicity and honesty of this funeral. One thing which struck me in listening to those who shared at this funeral was how every family has its struggles, yet can still make a positive impact on the lives of others and the church. What a blessed testimony! Posted by Gecko Girl at 11:14 PM. Links to this post. Monday, February 13, 2006. Posted by Gecko Girl at 1:27 PM.

Thursday, August 31, 2006. Love of Creation.Sacramental Ecology. There is nothing that touches me deeper than to have the chance just to sit and observe Creation. I marvel and wonder at so many things: the interaction of people, the behavior of animals, the ebb and flow of water, the breeze in trees, the beauty in flowers, the vastness of fields and what grows there, the production of fruit and vegetables . I could go on and on. Perhaps I am feeling sentimental at this time because I came across a. Jakar...

The Glass Darkly: April 2006

Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Pillars vs. Nomads. I've always had tremendous admiration and respect for pillars in communities . . . those people who dependably provide support, strength and continuity in a world of flux and uncertainties; those people who always seem to be there, permanent fixtures, if you will, in neighborhoods where babies are born, children grow up and parents share wisdom and memories. Part of me desires this place in life. Posted by Gecko Girl at 7:43 AM. Links to this post. We had an...

Please laugh - I am not posting this to send a serious message of condemnation! If you can't read his 4 points:. Don't invite people in. Ignore visitors who show up anyhow. Or is the issue...

The Glass Darkly: September 2006
http://theglassdarkly.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 12, 2006. The Grief of Being Human. I'm in mourning, Lord. For the breaks and divisions I see all around me. For the breaks and divisions I know in my spirit are yet to come. Why can't we understand one another? Why can't You give us supernatural understanding? Why do you allow humans to break apart. Breaks attributed to unreconcilable differences? I want to believe that divisions are falling. I want to believe that, for those things that matter, you will intervene. We need your peace.
