Things parents should do. If they think their child has learning disabilities. Educate yourself about learning disabilities. Find the right school environment for your child. Work together with teachers to map out a plan for your child and stay in constant touch with the teacher. Learn what you can do at home to help with homework etc. Keep positive, your child is probably frustrated and needs encouragement. Break large tasks into manageable pieces. Don’t cover up the problem. Be your child’s advocate.
