He served a full apprenticeship in Joinery and Carpentry back in the good old days. The name came about when Mike was working on a particular site and the youngsters couldn’t believe that he still used a hammer. 8220;No one uses a hammer here…we all use nail guns. You’re such a dinosaur! 8221; He liked that so much he changed his business name.

Doors, Shutters and Gates. Mike Morris is the backbone of Dinosaur Joinery. Occasionally he brings in a few hand picked colleagues to ensure a contract is completed on time, but Mike still does the fabrication and takes responsibility for the quality himself. Mike served his ‘time’, and by that we mean a full apprenticeship, with Parkinson’s in the Furniture department. Learning the craft of joinery in general and bespoke cabinets, furniture, bar and shop fittings in particular.

Not just for the sake of keeping things traditional but really because they have been used and tested over hundreds of years and been found to simply work. All the glues we use are waterproof.
