Last Stand Dan: December 2013
http://laststanddan.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. The Battle of Liebertwolkwitz, 16 October, 1813 - An Age of Eagles Scenario. We return once again to Matt's Basement Bunker to play his 2nd battle of the year. Matt hosts at least two major battles at his home in Denver and this was the last for 2013. As the Allies the major problem we had at each initiative phase was that we were rolling with a -2 and won the initiative maybe once? So it was another great time and another great battle. Thanks Matt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Scouts have found a path that will bring his force hopefully unseen by the ever watchful eye of the Osman's. It will be a night march and an attack at day break. Hopefully Forte will catch the dervish unprepared for an attack coming from behind them. Message from Major Forte to Major Manley (Outside Atbara). I have consolidated my position and have occupied the siege wor...

Last Stand Dan: July 2014
http://laststanddan.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2014. 2nd Battle of Atbara (Sudan Campaign). We finally played the 2nd battle of Atbara. As you may remember the dervish stopped the advance of the British only this time to be overwhelmed by an ever increasing British force crossing from Suakin. This battle served its purpose and that was to delay the infidel forces from reaching Khartoum before its fall. More on the campaign later, let’s discuss the battle. So the dervish were taking and causing firing casualties but because of the ...
