Tuesday, June 11, 2013. So much has happened since I last wrote. My kids are totally loving that we now live on a dead end. Alex has learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Before bed tonight Caleb realized that he hadn't been on his bike today. He promptly went out to ride because he has to get one ride a day in at least, he says. One reason I really love summer is that there's no homework. I also love spending time with my kids. They are all so different but so special to me.

Monday, February 13, 2012. What's it like with 5 kids? Well, at first I thought I was on the crazy train on the way to the looney bin. But now I've adjusted. :) Its great having 5 kids. A little crazy now and then, but I have no regrets. I am constantly asked by people, "How do you handle 5 kids? I can barely handle my (fill in the blank)". Well, there's no magic trick. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Dan relaxing in the shade at Bear Lake. All my kiddos eating breakfast before our day at the lake. Rachel built a grand sandcastle when we were at the lake. We went on a hike to Bloomington Lake. When we went around the corner, there was a moose standing in a pond eating grass. Thankfully, the moose didn't care about us. And I zoomed in for this picture. Monday, June 20, 2011. At the beginning of May she started to take steps, but a few days later completely stopped. Well, four teeth and and two ear infections later, she started taking steps again. This time for good! I love watching her walk around the house, and seeing how proud she is of herself. It brings me so much joy! I couldn't figure out how to upload a video, but here are a couple pictures of her in action. The helmet is to keep her extra safe. You never know what could happen.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011. It's a . . . Yep, we're having another sweet little girl! As soon as the ultrasound started, I saw the parts and recognized them! I'm a little nervous for the drama, but I'll hopefully survive:). Before we found out Luci told me on several occasions that it was going to be a girl. I asked her once what she would think if it was a boy to which she firmly replied "It's not! It must be sisters intuition. This is a picture of her chest and face with her arm across her face.
