Saudi Scenes: FAQ's
http://saudiscenes.blogspot.com/p/frequently-ask-questions_4921.html
I am going to slowly keep adding to this as I have time. This blog has taken off in ways I never imagined! As a result I am finding that with specific questions sometimes it is easier for me to answer these via email then on a public form. If you have a specific question or would like to correspond in a more private manner please leave me a comment with your email address in it. I will NOT publish any comments that have an email address in them! Is there anything that you can't import? YES, you can bring...

Global Gypsy: April 2014
http://globalgypsy12.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2014. A Tapestry of Sacred Music 2014. Along with a baby shower, I also went with Jill to a couple of performances at the Esplanade. They had brought in several performers from around the world related to their sacred music traditions. We decided to go to Tim Eriksen on Friday night. He performs folk hymnody from the Eastern United States and the Appalachian Mountain region. I enjoyed myself because he got people singing along. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). One Step at a Time. Hold dear ones close to your heart * *. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Pioneer Frolic at Goddard State Park. Raeman, Darlene and I took a trip to Sandy Lake for the Pioneer Frolic held every year. Rae was playing with Neal Williams and Frank Feroz from 1 pm until 2:30. Darlene and I walked around visiting the craft boothes and the reinactment camps. It was all very interesting. Colorful scrunchies for sale. It was a beautiful day, not too hot! And we listened to Neal Williams and friends.

It is all a muddy, muddy mess but, hey, it is January. Tomorrow the weather is to be warm in the 60's. I believe they are coming back to work and make use of this mild winter weather we are having. A little bit of fiction, a little bit of life. Twenty-five Bucks and a Degree in French. I just completed the second stage of an application process to become a volunteer translator for Kiva. You might have noticed an ad for Kiva on my sidebar here at Chez Cerise. Kiva is an international microfinance organization which matches borrowers (typically in the developing world) to lenders throughout the globe. To see how it works. We’ve recommended Kiva to a number of friends and family members who have...

A little bit of fiction, a little bit of life. I call Mr. Robert Fuller to let him know I’ve arrived in the small community of Pine, Arizona, to learn the story of his family’s apple tree. It’s the champion Big Tree of its species. And was planted by one of his ancestors about a hundred years ago. Rain is beginning to fall again, small drops marking my windshield. A few minutes later, a tall, thin man makes his way across the idle highway from the old house on the other side. By 1888, Wid held the contra...

Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The good news: The Hawks made it back to the Superbowl in sunny Arizona. They boys were able to go for the SECOND time (not that I am counting). Russell Wilson was a total STUD as usual. The Hawks had a great game until…. The bad news: There was a bad call and the coaches had the Hawks throw the ball instead of having Beast Mode run it in. In turn, it was intercepted by the Patriots. UGH. SUCH A LOSS. Bobby Wagner (right Harv? Until Next Time Hawks. Congrats to Big Dog and Mali.
