Girls 2 boys 1. Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Otherwise known as "The day of great rejoicing for parents whose children were on their way to eating each other after spending too much time together over the summer." But that is too long for a title. Robbie has his first visitation day tomorrow, but sending 2 out of 3 back today felt pretty good. And thankfully, after crying daily over not wanting to go back to school, Kate happily skipped into her classroom and was warmly greeted by two good friends.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and while we didn't stay home and watch football all day long, I only have photos on my phone from our hike, so those will have to be posted later. Right now you can see our family photos from yesterday and from our walk to the Gorge today. Tomorrow, back home. In the rain. And maybe snow. Labels: getting away from it all. Girls 2 boys 1. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Robbie's Big Boy Haircut. A couple weeks ago, we finally had Daddy shave Robbie's hair. It isn't totally gone.there is enough left that he isn't completely bald. But we needed it to be short enough so he would stop twirling it. He has given himself a lovely bald spot right on top of his head from all the hair twirling he's been up to lately. Here's what we started with. Girls 2 boys 1. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. First Day of School 2012-Day 1. Three new grade levels in our house-4th, 1st and preschool. I qualified the title of this post with "day 1" because today was only the first day for the girls. Robbie gets his first day tomorrow. And it won't be his real.
