Hawley Family: June 2012
http://kevincharla.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. The kids' development is still going strong. We've been working with them for a couple of weeks on body parts. They can say and recognize: eye, nose, ear, hair, butt, and belly button. They can recognize: mouth, tongue, teeth, leg, foot, toes, arms, hands, and fingers. I am such a proud mommy. They can take their own diapers off and sit on the potty. K2 has peed twice. B does it all the time. What a microwave does. That a refrigerator has food in it. What toothbrushes and floss are.

Hawley Family: August 2012

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. While we moved, we left the kids with grandparents for three weeks. My parents took them for a week, then K's parents took them for a week until we drove down to Kansas, then we picked them up and dropped them off at my parents' house for a week while we unpacked, or so we thought we would be doing. I'll post pics of the kids' 2nd birthday party and development updates later when I have more time. Time is even more precious now that we have toddlers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, November 26, 2011. Where For Art Thou Good Mexican Food? And Elephants in the Room. I really miss Texas and I haven't found good mexican food here yet. A lot of the stuff up here is authentic and strange (at least to me.) Once we get to Texas, that is all we're eating! I have never eaten at Qdoba before and we figured since there are a lot of them, it had to be good. We were so disappointed and it left me craving good mexican food even more. Oh, Texas, how I miss you! Update on the kids. B is r...

Hawley Family: December 2011
http://kevincharla.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 27, 2011. K1 and I are in talks about me staying at home next year with the kids. If we stay here in Wisconsin, I'll probably stay at home with the kids and homeschool them for a few years. That's all I have for now. Sunday, December 18, 2011. As a parent, I figured out that daily tasks must be done in many small blocks of time. I realized that I needed to update the kids' milestone as of 16 months. Mostly wears 12 month clothes, but the 6-9 month fit him quite comfortably. Sucks her th...

Hawley Family: October 2011
http://kevincharla.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 29, 2011. We went to church today and K2 was screaming during the service. We tried moving to the area where the families with young kids are and she got worse. She was too wound up so we had to leave early. :(. B and K are now 14 months old. Here's what is new:. Both kiddos are still in size 3 diapers. B still fits into 3-6 month and 6/9 month pants and shorts, but the pants are not long enough. B can pull the lever on the little spinning barn toy (I'm not sure what that thing is calle...

Monday, October 8, 2012. I am so blessed that I have the opportunity to stay at home with our children! Things are pretty hectic around here unpacking, cleaning, and taking care of twins. Oh yeah, and dealing with dogs trying to breakout of our backyard almost on a daily basis. Siberian Huskies are known for being escape artists. Here are some pics:. I usually write stuff on the calendar and transfer it here, so by date, here's other development:. K walked around the corner and yelled back, "I see you!

Friday, May 25, 2012. I am so happy to be at home with the kids. I get to witness them learn so many new things. It's awesome. Although, it may be coming to an end. With K1 out of work, I've had to look for another job. Today, I told the kids that dinner was ready and that they needed to head to their highchairs. So, they both sat in their highchairs and buckled themselves in. :). They turned their heads in unison. "Does a dinosaur throw his teddy bear all about? What a funny kid. Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

Hawley Family: September 2012
http://kevincharla.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 10, 2012. It has been one crazy month! I wish this was made up, but it isn't. Looking at the car, the driver's side door was hit, the area where the kids were sitting was missed and then the back driver's side was hit, causing the window to shatter. This is where the kids were sitting. The side curtain air bag. Since then, he has been very cautious and hasn't wanted anyone to change his diaper or touch him. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
