Verrückte Hutmacher and Campieren im Kino. So richtig komplett ist ein halbes Jahr in England irgendwie nur, wenn man a uch den umliegenden Gegenden einen Besuch abstattet. Schottland war ja im November dran, also ging es nun nach. In der Nacht von Donnerstag auf Freitag ging es los (ja, in der Nacht: Unser Bus hat uns um 2:30 Uhr abgeholt.) und am Sonntagabend war ich wieder auf dem Campus. Auf jeden Fall hat sich der Schlafentzug mal wieder gelohnt! Eine ganz alte Universität, an der mein Lieblingsautor.

Langsam wird s ernst! Heute haben wir den Flug gebucht und am 28. September geht es los! Also noch genau zwei Monate und es gibt noch so vieles zu erledigen…. Jetzt muss ich nur langsam mal überlegen, wie ich das alles meiner Katze erzähle…. Vom 11. – 16. Juli 2010 waren wir für ein paar Tage in England. Reading Week (mal wieder)! 8211; ein kleiner Laden, in dem es nur Sachen zu. Gibt Der Autor, Lewis Carroll. Hat nämlich in Oxford studiert und unterrichtet und hat hier die Inspiration zu dem bekannten Kinderbuch bekommen. Es folgt das obligatorische Oxford-Touristen-Foto, vor der Christ Church. Ich wohne hier doch? Vielleicht kann man sich dann ja so ungefähr denken, warum diese Stadt so unglaublich hässlich ist: Es war nach dem Krieg einfach nicht mehr viel da! Ansonsten gab es mal wieder viel zu lerne...

Sunday, July 17, 2011. Are We In Weymouth Yet? We ended up having a good night sleep, getting charged up for the next day. Next day, back on the road again. We are now trying to catch our 2.30pm ferry from Holland to England. The drive will take 5hrs and we have around 7hrs to do that. You want to guess what happened? You probably guessed it right.
