Saturday, April 19. A labor of love. At 4:15 am, I awoke from a dream knowing what I was about to hear. In that same instant, I heard the pop that some women spoke so vividly about. Our time had finally come. After 41 weeks and 2 days, we were ready. Not because I felt like a whale and could barely fit any of my maternity clothes. Not because I had to make sure that Brent parked far away enough from the next car so that I could make it out of the passenger seat. When I say we. Calm and peace surrounded us.
