The 2012 Theater and Performance Studies Program and Mask and Bauble spring co-production of "Macbeth" capped a year-long focus on the play by director Professor Maya E. Roth, including a fall 2011 seminar titled Macbeth: Witches, War and Performance, including in-depth analysis of the play itself, its history, adaptations of it, and theoretical as well as critical writings about it.
