Friday, September 25, 2009. They say that to climb Mt. Fuji once is a great accomplishment, and to climb it twice is crazy. Actually, most Japanese that I talked to about it said that Mt. Fuji is beautiful to look at, but not to climb! I'd say that both those statements are very true. In order to climb Mt Fuji we were required to go through a safety course which almost scared me from attempting the climb. It was a brutal climb, but I'm glad I did it! This is at Station 7 where we got our first stamp....

Friday, April 17, 2009. The trees below line the street which leads to our house. Our house is around the bend to the left. This group of trees lead to the Fitness Center on post.
